A few things to take care of before school begins can help make arrival and dismissal smoother from day one.
The PTO typically hosts one or more informal events before school begins, such as Chalk the Walk and Clap-In & Staff Welcome.
Events may change from year to year, so watch PTO communications and the calendar for this year’s activities.

Incoming kindergarteners attend a one-hour orientation to meet their teachers, explore the school, and become familiar with kindergarten routines.
Families will receive signup information and times in advance.
Parents and caregivers will bring their child to the front door of the school. Teachers will meet the kids and walk them down to the classroom to begin practicing hallway expectations. Parent and families meet their students outside the building after the session is over.
Bus transportation is not provided for Kindergarten Orientation.
